When God Becomes The Only Hope.

has been a year of sorts for our family.If you were to ask me what happened in 2013 for some reason I do not recall anything significant.2014 however has me days memorized.

With a grand dad (that is more a dad than a grand dad) whose health is deteriorating,with a worried mom over certain family circumstances,with a husband who is keeping his calm despite a tough career phase,with young toddler for whom I m on my knees to speak.This year has been a year of overwhelming-ness.

When all our hopes and worries for un-containable circumstances threaten to drown us,god in his goodness never fails to speak or comfort when needed or calm the chaos.Through all these situations I completely submit to my inability to control or even contain them.

My reading for the day came like a ray of sunshine.

Psalm 33:6-19
New International Version (NIV)
6 By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,
    their starry host by the breath of his mouth.
7 He gathers the waters of the sea into jars[a];
    he puts the deep into storehouses.
8 Let all the earth fear the Lord;
    let all the people of the world revere him.
9 For he spoke, and it came to be;
    he commanded, and it stood firm.
10 The Lord foils the plans of the nations;
    he thwarts the purposes of the peoples.
11 But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever,
    the purposes of his heart through all generations.
12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
    the people he chose for his inheritance.
13 From heaven the Lord looks down
    and sees all mankind;
14 from his dwelling place he watches
    all who live on earth—
15 he who forms the hearts of all,
    who considers everything they do.
16 No king is saved by the size of his army;
    no warrior escapes by his great strength.
17 A horse is a vain hope for deliverance;
    despite all its great strength it cannot save.
18 But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him,
    on those whose hope is in his unfailing love,
19 to deliver them from death
    and keep them alive in famine.

Each of these verse shows the inability of man to the capability of god.(vs 16,17,19).Shows how neither a strong man ,neither a horse,neither a king can be saved by his own capability or earthly possessions.

Yet while I read (vs 11):It Shows us the love of god the father,that doesn’t come to meet our immediate needs but he thinks ahead of time for us and our future lineage.What love.What Hope we as Christians are blessed to have.

11 But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever,
    the purposes of his heart through all generations.

“We can trust our God
He knows what He’s doing
Though it might hurt now
We won’t be ruined
It might seem there’s an ocean in between
But He’s holding on to you and me
And He’s never gonna leave, no
He is with us, He is with us
