Fine motor skill – Felt Button Activity

Some fun ideas I had always wanted to do,but had put on hold for a long time.
These would be wonderful Fine Motor skill activities and help with concentration.

Needed:
Shape buttons
Felt sheets
Needle
Thread

Activity 1: Button the color and shape:
On the felt sheet I sewed the shape buttons.
Cut out the respective shapes on their respective color felt.
Now allow your child to button the shapes.
This activity is difficult for younger toddlers.

Activity 2: Button snake:
Dash seemed to do this activity with better ease than the previous one.
I sewed a button on each end of the ribbon.
For this activity, I used the shape pieces created in the previous activity.
The child needs to put in each piece into the ribbon.
