Hands on Maths – Easy DIY Montessori beads

Once my child had mastered number association.
I came across the idea of making montessori beads ,they have been handy in teaching addition,teen numbers and counting by 10s.
They are so hands on.Children understand the concept very easily once we’ve showed them how to use it 2 -3 times.
It helps the child work independently.

Needed:
Beads
Wire
Plier

How to:
I bought the beads at a craft store in Chennai.
And the wires at an electrical shop.
And used my hubby’s regular pliers.
The project took us 2-3 hours and voila we were done.
