Book review: Literature : Far from the Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy

Recommended : Young Adult and Adult.
My first novel of Hardy. Initially I was apprehensive ,as the descriptions lengthened for quite a few pages ,but then the story picked up speed. And I discovered here was an author, I really enjoyed and that led me to read many more of his works.
The story follows a shepherd Gabriel Oak and his employment with a young heiress Bathsheba Everdene and their farm life in the country . The everyday life of the farmers and their flames and alliances and their everyday struggle against the elements.
