Love Divine — The Personal God

My son and I have been reading our Toddler bible. And these are the stories that we read recently:The Parable of the Lost sheep,The Parable of the Lost coin,The Parable of the Prodigal Son.

The Theme is the same across these 3 parables:It is about how a person rejoices when they’ve found that one lost treasure.

The Parable of the Lost sheep talks about 99 sheep that the shepherd has ,yet seeks out to find that one lost sheep.

The Parable of the Lost coin talks about 9 silver coins that a woman has,yet seeks out to find that one lost coin.

The Parable of the Prodigal Son,talks about a son who disobeys his father and squanders away his riches ,yet is welcomed back home.

The Interpretation of the Parable (as per the text from the toddler bible)

“God is like the woman.
He wants to find his people
who are not following him.
They are lost from him.
He wants them to follow him again.
Then they will be found,
and God will be Happy”

What Personal attention!!I matter!!!.We matter!!!

Such Love.He never gives up on us.He will seek and woo us to him :).My prayer is that my children will remember this profound truth and that there is always hope with god.

Luke 15:8-10 (NKJV)

The Parable of the Lost Coin
8 “Or what woman, having ten silver coins,[a] if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? 9 And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!’ 10 Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
