Favorite Educational Books – Julia Donaldson – Preschool and Kindergarten
I accidentally stumbled on Julia Donaldson books. These books are so well written. And they rhyme perfectly. These are now our current favorites. You can’t go wrong when you buy a Julia Donaldson book.
Paper Dolls:
This was the first book my son and I read. Its a simple book that captures a child’s imagination. We made paper dolls as an activity after we read the book.
Cave baby:
A beautiful book that will invoke creativity.
The Smartest Giant in Town:
A wonderful book that deals with kindness.
A Squash and a squeeze:
A hilarious rhyme book with a moral on grumbling.
Room on the broom:
A witch’s adventure on a broom.
Snail of a Whale:
As most Julia Donaldson books this too is a beautiful illustrated book which talks about the journey of a whale and snail. It maybe a better fit for older children who can sit for longer periods.
