Book review: English Literature: An Old Fashioned girl by Louisa May Alcott

Louisa May Alcott is currently my very favorite author. Her writing tells compelling stories with hidden gems of wisdom. As a parent I prize character training highly and Louisa May Alcott books does that with an engrossing plot.
A sweet story about an old fashioned girl Polly Milton who prizes old fashioned values. The story follows the growing to adult years of a poor country girl Polly Milton’s friendship with an rich urban Fanny and Tommy Shaw. Focussing on prejudices, true friendships, the consequences frivolous lifestyle and the rewards of hard work though waylaid by obstacles. A story that centers on simplicity, virtue, values and patience.
