Book review: The Lord of the Rings 4:The Silmarillion by J. R. R. Tolkien

Recommended Age : High school and above.
The Silmarillion details the beginnings, a little tedious read compared to the others. Still a nice treat for the LOTR fan. It shows the beginning of the world, ancient creatures Iluvutar, Morgoth and his follower Sauron, the dwarves, the elves , balrog, shelob , orcs, the numenorians and the rings of power. In some ways we find a Eerie likeness or parellislism with miltons paradise lost. for me Personally i also felt a very resemblance between world war 2 , hitler and the lord of the rings, this could be also because i was reading the Third Reich by william shrier.
