Book Review: Living Science: Microbe Hunters by Paul de Kruif
Wonderful book to learn about the discovery of various germs and gives beautiful sneak peek into the life of the discoverers. Eg the life of the inventor of microscope Anton Von Leeuwenhoek whose livelihood was being a janitor. Or Louis Pasteur the son of a tanner. A truly inspirational book on education as curiosity to learn and something more than a piece of paper. Highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to know more about microbes and its history.
