Alexander the Great is a wonderful history read.Jacob abbot does a great job keeping the book to the point and concise.The book has maps to trace Alexander’s journey
Alexander was born at 356 bc in Macedonia.crowned at 20 ,his military career spanned for 12 years.He had created one of the worlds largest empire at a young age of 30.His kingdom stretched from Greece to north western India.
These were my takings about Alexander as a person –
- His magnanimity with Darius’s family.
- His Ingenious military tactics
- His Leadership skills – by leading first.
- His ambitious spirit
- And his love for his mother
