Book Review : India: Science: History : Early Indians by Tony Joseph

An interesting book which  has tried to explains why we have so many different languages , different traditions . After all it would not be a brainer when we move through India. History of wars and an extremely old sub continent without doubt brings in migrations ,displacements ,borrowed ideas , languages and this book details them.

And that is what fascinates me about India. The old world is a kind of new world which co exists beautifully with moments of volatility but for the most part people wanting to go about their lives and their own business. Holding to things passed from the past and adapting to the new.

As a South Indian having friends from different states North and North East. Or as a Christian having friends from other faiths or other food habits. India is truly a fascinating place.
