Book Review: The Chronicles of Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew by C. S. Lewis
Recommended : Middle School, High school, Young Adults, Adults
The Magician’s Nephew tells the story of the beginnings of the cupboard and the lamp post in Narnia. It follows two children Digory and Polly, Digory’s uncle is a magician and he tricks them on a mission he is not comfortable on embarking. What follows and how the children return back from this mysterious place is what the story is about.
I love the last scene between Diggory and his choices that was very realistically done. This one reminded me of a verse from the bible. Proverbs 14:12 King James Version (KJV)There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, But the end thereof are the ways of death.
